Parent Involvement
Sunflower Preschool encourages parents to volunteer. Some parents spend time helping in the classroom reading books, and/or presenting special projects to the children. In addition, we count on our parent volunteers to help with driving on field trips and to assist with our parties and celebrations. Parents are asked to come and share their cultural traditions, holidays and foods with the children. Since 1981, our parent volunteers have helped to create a warm sense of community and a special learning environment for young children.
